Kwizine Tour
TAURANGA TASTING TOURS & CHART
The tour picks you up from the Port of Tauranga or local accommodation and stops briefly at a kiwi fruit orchard where the industry is explained from planting to the beautiful edible fruit and export (and, in season, you will be able to taste the product). We travel north for an immersive experience, including a “walk and talk” tour and a tasting at a picturesque avocado orchard. You are then provided with a fish and chip lunch at a seaside village, taken up to Minden Lookout where you have a marvelous view of the Coastal Bay of Plenty (- on a clear day you can see an active volcano, White Island). The tour also takes you to either BeeNZ for a honey tasting and factory tour (Monday-Friday) OR visits an award-winning dessert venue to taste one of their desserts (Saturday-Sunday). We then return to port or your local accommodation, driving alongside beautiful Mount Maunganui Beach, which we consider to be the best beach in the Southern Hemisphere.
