Short Langtang Treks
Manasalu Circuit Treks with Package
Our 4-day short Langtang trek is the perfect way to explore the heart of the Langtang region, with its stunning scenery, vibrant Tamang culture, and serene escape from a bustling city. This mini adventure, located north east of Kathmandu, takes you through lush woodlands, quaint villages, and awe-inspiring Himalayan vistas.
Your trip starts with a scenic 8–9 hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Basi, offering views across deep river valleys and rolling hills. From there, the trail winds past terraced farms and rhododendron forests, passing charming settlements where you'll experience warm hospitality typical of the Tamang community. Your pilgrimage becomes even more spiritually enriching due to encounters with local Buddhists practices, historic monasteries, and prayer flags fluttering along the path.
One highlight will be Nagathli Ghyang, a high altitude viewpoint providing spectacular sunrises over Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and distant Tibetan peaks. Don’t miss soaking in the rejuvenating waters at Tatopani Hot Springs – nature’s own spa to refresh tired muscles after a day on the trails.
As we follow an ancient trading route down from Tibet toward Thuman and Syabru Basi, our trek offers fascinating insights into the area’s rich cultural heritage. We conclude this rewarding walking tour with another beautiful drive back to Kathmandu.
