an official social enterprise located in the north of Vietnam which is established under Vietnam Enterprise Law and operates as a commercial organization but must commit to investing at least 51% of its annual profits in registered social or environmental goals. We are working with tea villages to address the deeply rooted issues and some of the most complex challenges faced by our tribes and tea lovers around the world by fostering partnerships among stakeholders. Our region is home to Snow Shan Tea, Fairy Tea, and Dragon Tea, varieties of the Camellia assamica tea plant. There are still numerous mountains in Northern Vietnam where these teas grow wild and are handpicked by members of various ethnic minority groups such as the Red Dao, Tai, H’mong, Giay, Lolo, Pa Then, and Nung, amongst others. They mainly reside in serene highland hamlets nestled high up on mountain slopes, cultivating and producing tea leaves, medicinal plants, and paddy fields across multiple generations. The aim of our initiative is to engage forward-thinking individuals and organisations who seek profound insights and wish to learn more about traditional custodians of local culture and guardians of ancestral lands upon which age-old tea bushes thrive. In collaboration with ethically conscious, environmentally friendly, and community focused entities we strive towards safeguarding not only the precious heritage of native flora like the iconic tea species found here but also preserving distinctive customs and rich biodiverse ecosystems characteristic of this area.
