Few silhouettes represent the essence of Ibiza better than those of "llaüts", traditional wooden boats that were originally used for fishing and are now often employed as leisure craft centuries later. Their preservation is a fitting tribute to the skilled work of fishermen and boatbuilders ("mestres d'aixa").
