Day 1 - Belém · Soure · Barra Velha · Furo do Mata Fome 05:40 AM - Embarkation on a river transport (catamaran or speedboat) from hotels or residences in Belém to Soure. Vehicles are waiting for transfers to your selected hotel, accompanied by a local driver. Afternoon: Visit to Barra Velha Beach, where you will take a stroll approximately 1 kilometer along the shoreline to appreciate the mangroves, catch fresh water crabs, and enjoy the scenic views of Marajó Bay. Late Afternoon: Boat ride down the Paracauari River toward Furo do Mata Fome; this offers great opportunities to spot various wildlife species like Scarlet Ibis, Herons, Cormorants, Rabbits among others. Day 2 - Soure · Salvaterra · Joanes Morning: After having breakfast depart for the town of Salvaterra which is the second biggest settlement on the Island renowned for being home to "Porto dos Botes". Tour includes visits to the historic village of Joanes followed by some leisure time here so that visitors can have a refreshing dip in their beautiful beaches.
