Kbal Spean and Banteay Srei Tour

This tour starts at 8:00 AM after you've had breakfast. Our guide and driver will come and pick you up and begin the journey to Kbal Spean. We'll head out of town along the National Highway No. 6 towards Phnom Penh. About halfway through the journey, we'll stop at a local market called Dom Dek Market. Here, you can see how the locals do their grocery shopping in a local market. From here, we'll continue the journey to Kbal Spean which is known as "Bridge Head" in English. This is an ancient Angkorian site on the slopes of the Kulen Mountain Range, about 25 km from the main temples at Angkor. The area is known as the "River of a Thousand Lingas" and contains a series of stone carvings around the Kbal Spean River. We'll then stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our tour to Banteay Srei temple. Banteay Srei means the "Citadel of the Women" in English, and it's said that the carvings are so fine that they could only have been carved by women's hands. It's also known as the "Jewel of Angkor" because of its unparalleled beauty, which you won't see anywhere else in Cambodia due to its unique pink sandstone architecture. On the way back to Siem Reap, we'll stop at the Cambodian Landmine Museum where you'll learn how years of conflict have affected Cambodians. From the civil war, the American bombings, the Khmer Rouge regime, to the occupation of Cambodia by Vietnamese forces, Cambodia has been devastated by landmines. Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour with Sunrise & Sunset

The Angkor Wat Small Circuit tour starts very early in the morning. You'll be picked up before sunrise around 4:30 - 5:00 am and you'll spend the whole day exploring the temples before stopping to see the sunset at Srah Srang around 6 - 6:30 pm. It's a long day, but we'll explore the temples at a leisurely pace, stop for lunch and other breaks when required. After the conclusion of the tour, we'll drop you back to your hotel. After the sunrise and exploring Angkor Wat, we'll stop for breakfast and then continue to the ancient city of Angkor Thom. We'll enter via the "South Gate of Angkor Thom" on a long causeway which is flanked by a row of 54 mythical beings which are said to guard the city from bad spirits. First on the list is a visit to Bayon temple which is located exactly in the center of Angkor Thom. The hundreds of giant stone faces will look down on you throughout the temple and are some of the most recognized and photogenic spots in Siem Reap. A mid-11th century temple, Baphuon is a beautiful temple at Angkor Thom. Its name means a hidden temple. It has three tiers, built in a shape of a pyramid. We'll then head over to the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King before taking lunch. You have the option to each lunch in a local restaurant nearby the temples or we can head back to your hotel to eat lunch. After lunch, we'll go to see the "Tomb Raider" temple which is called Ta Prohm. It's one of the most popular temples because of its unique appearance.

Siem Reap City Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll come and pick you up around 8 o'clock in the morning. We'll come and get you either in a tuk tuk, air-conditioned taxi or minivan (depending on your specifications or group size) and take you to visit the local Buddhist pagoda called Wat Thmey. Here, you will see the Siem Reap killing fields. You can learn about the atrocities which occurred during the brutal Khmer Rouge regime. Then, we will go to visit the Cambodia War Museum. You can learn about the the civil war and other important aspects of recent Khmer history. We’ll then go to visit another Buddhist pagoda in the town centre call Wat Preah Prohm Rath. We’ll then take you to visit the Old Market (Psar Chas) so you can see a local market and do some souvenir shopping. Finally, we’ll take you to the popular Artisans d’Angkor so you can see how they’ve revived local crafts and even buy yourself a gift or two.
