Belgrade Kayak Tour - Veliko Nasrpsko Otočje (Great War Island)

Kayak Adventure on Veliki Rit (Great War Island) is organised in a protected nature park called Veliki Rit (Great War Island) which lies near confluence of rivers Sava and Danube in Belgrade; this place really looks like heaven for all those who love untouched natural beauty. Veliki Rit offers an exceptional chance to explore Belgrade through another lens - not just by looking but also experiencing its beauties differently then usually done. Although being right in heart of big metropolis, Kayak Adventure provides experience full of untamed wilderness. Our journey starts at our sports centre/club premises, where participants receive required gear such as life jackets, paddles and Kayaks themselves. Prior to departure, experienced instructors provide basic instructions about paddling techniques since no previous skills are expected beforehand. First stop would be lido area situated towards north side of the islet after that depending upon favourable weather condition swimmers could take refreshing dip while rest continues exploring coastline circling whole territory of Veliki rit back to original location. Duration of entire tour approximately takes up to 2 hrs. Important notes : Participants should wear appropriate sportswear suitable for given day's temperature because remember there involved some amount of getting soaked during activity thus carrying extra set clothes recommended ; Also available types include single seater & double seaters hence choice depends entirely individual preference!
