We are doing a big loop inside the 2000 acres grounds of Versailles, we won’t pass twice by the same route.
Our itinerary was timed according to the Fountains show schedule (all Weekends Btw Apr and Oct + all Tuesday Btw May and June).
Our journey begins at the main entrance of the Palace. From there, we make our way to the South Parterre, where our golf carts await.
You may choose to sit back and relax or take the wheel yourself, gliding through the exquisite French formal gardens as our guide unveils their history and hidden details.
After exploring the enchanting groves, we arrive at Petite Venise beside the Grand Canal. Here, we exchange our carts for bicycles (Biking not mandatory the guide will offer a shuttle option) and leisurely follow the canal before riding through the Royal Forest toward the Petit Trianon.
Upon arrival, we park our bikes and, after an engaging introduction to its history, enjoy free time to explore this refined retreat built for Marie Antoinette, it draws inspiration from the traditional rural architecture of Normandy and reflects her desire for pastoral simplicity.
Our experience continues with a delightful picnic lunch, featuring a curated selection of French delicacies from the legendary Angelina’s.

Refreshed and re-energized, we cycle onward to the Grand Trianon. After hearing captivating stories of Louis XIV and his mistress, Madame de Montespan, you will have time to wander through this magnificent pink marble palace at your own pace.
We then proceed to the Neptune Fountain, where we leave our bicycles and stroll back to the Palace on foot, passing through beautiful groves just as the fountains spring to life.
Finally, you will enter the Palace at a quieter hour with a timed-entry ticket, allowing you to explore independently and at your leisure the iconic royal residence of the French monarchy.
