This 3 hour long excursion consists of brief instruction on Istrian truffles and its rich past, sampling typical dishes prepared using Istrias finest ingredients including truffled delicacies provided by our hosts – the Karlić Family –, followed by actual truffle seeking within this verdant Istraan treasure trove guided by some very special noses indeed—truffle detection dogs. Besides daytime hunts there’s also nighttime foraging available starting off with tastings paired up with one truly breathtaking view–the setting sun over Motovun Forest.
