9 Days Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route (Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route)

9 day Mount Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route trek; the Lemosho Route is one of our favourite routes because of its lower footfall, stunning views and higher climb success rates. The Lemosho Route begins on the western side starting with a lengthy transfer by road from Moshi town to Londorossi gate. Then over the next couple of days hikers make their way up through dense rain forest towards shira plateau. We would normally advise that climbers spend a minimum of seven nights/days climbing this route however eight nights/days is recommended allowing more time for proper acclimatisation which increases your chances of reaching the top successfully. However should clients wish to add on Crater Camp then they will need to allow a minimum of eight nights or nine nights even better for full aclimatisation purposes. Please note additional charges apply when staying overnight within the crater area covering the cost of the second entry permit required.

7 Days Kilimanjaro Rongai Route (Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro Via Rongai Route)

7 days Kilimanjaro Rongai Route hiking adventure, Rongai Route starts at the north side of Mount Kilimanjaro, 45km away from Moshi Town or 69km away from Arusha Town; It's considered to be among the most accessible paths up Mount Kilimanjaro, which makes it quite famous these past few years. Located along the Northern Circuit area of Mt Kilimanjaro National Park, hikers will encounter diverse flora & fauna alongside breathtaking sceneries throughout their journey. Typically taking about six (6) full trekking/climbing days but we offer optional extra rest /acclimatisation day(s), making total climb time seven (7)days if required by our clients. Compared to other trails like Machame or Marangu Routes,Rongai offers much better scenery while being less strenuous compared to some alternative camping options when attempting summiting Africa highest peak -Mount Kilimanjaro ,and its ascent rates are amongst the best available .

6 Days Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route Climb (Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route)

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route over 6 days is a demanding trek because covering the distance and elevation within the allocated timeframe can be tough. On Day 2 specifically, the hike from Forest Camp up to Shira's Camp II (Shira Hut) is quite lengthy with about a 1,000 meter ascent - so much so that some trekkers may experience mild Altitude Sickness by this point alone given its rapid increase in height.
