Tour Overview: This 6-day safari explores Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Guests enjoy private game drives, hot lodge lunches, and stays in selected lodges. The trip features rich wildlife, scenic landscapes, and comfortable accommodations, with expert guiding ensuring a seamless and memorable safari experience. Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha, then Tarangire National Park After arriving at Arusha Airport, we will transfer you to Tarangire National Park for a wonderful game drive while carrying lunch boxes. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park and is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is well known for its large group of countless elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Other wild animals include predators and herbivores like lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, various bird species, and plant species. Be ready to see many different wild animals here within minutes. After the game drive, we'll head to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay. Day 2: Transfer from Karatu to Serengeti National Park You'll be picked up from your lodge by our tour guide driver and depart for Serengeti National Park for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. This is a 4-day group tour that takes you around the famous northern circuit parks. Serengeti National Park is the largest and most famous, as over a million wildebeest migrate yearly alongside over 250,000 zebras. The Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight, with its beautiful landscapes, surreal view of the crater, and ease of seeing animals on the crater floor. Tarangire National Park, compared to Serengeti, is a very small park famous for the large number of elephants roaming the area. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park After an early breakfast, (Pick up at Shoppers - Arusha) depart to Tarangire for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless riverbed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decreased lagoons.
