A Day of Cooking and Sharing We begin our day at 8:30 AM by visiting the local market in the Old Town of Annecy, located in the heart of its historic district. I introduce you to the local producers of cheese, fruits, and vegetables, and together we purchase all the essential ingredients needed to prepare our meals. The Old Town Market is the oldest and most traditional market in Annecy. It’s held on the charming medieval streets alongside the River Thiou. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to admire beautiful ancient structures such as the Palace of Île (Palais de l'Île), Morand Bridge (Pont des Alluvions), and St. Clare Gate (Porte Saint-Clair). In my very own kitchen, we collaborate to create an exquisite three-course French lunch. I offer both vegetarian options and meat-based dishes based on your preferences. Throughout this experience, I share my finest recipes while teaching you valuable culinary skills and expertise specific to French gastronomy. This session allows you not only to learn but also immerse yourself in the art of French dining culture! Beyond just food preparation, it was truly wonderful spending time chatting about various aspects of life and exchanging stories—a memorable shared moment indeed.
