Tourist.com in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps

Server address

The Tourist.com connector is a public MCP server. Add this address wherever your AI app asks for a connector or MCP server URL:

No sign-in, no API key. The connector only reads public information and never creates, changes or deletes anything.

Add it to Claude

1. Open Add custom connector in Claude (the name and address are filled in), or go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the address above.
2. Leave authentication as No sign-in and click Add.
3. In a new chat open + → Connectors and switch Tourist.com on.

Once the listing appears in the Claude connectors directory you can also add it from there with one click.

Add it to ChatGPT, Cursor or other apps

• ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & connectors → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create. URL https://tourist.com/mcp, authentication: No authentication.
• Cursor: Add to Cursor, or add "tourist": {"url": "https://tourist.com/mcp"} under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
• Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http tourist https://tourist.com/mcp
• VS Code: Install in VS Code.

• tourist_find_city finds a city and its id.
• tourist_search_deals searches discounts by city, by coordinates and radius, by category or keyword; can show only deals that are free for everyone.
• tourist_search_places searches restaurants, cafes, tours, hotels, shops and more, with the best discount each place offers.
• tourist_get_place returns description, address, opening hours, contacts, booking link, photos and all current deals of a place.
• tourist_top_deals shows hand-picked best deals in a city.
• tourist_list_categories lists business categories.

How deals work

Most deals are free: open the place link on tourist.com and show the offer to the staff before paying. Deals marked plus_only are for Tourist Plus members in the Tourist.com app.

Privacy, limits and support

The connector does not need or store any personal data. Requests are logged without content for reliability (tool name, time, success). Fair-use limit: 120 requests per minute per IP. Status: tourist.com/mcp/health. Privacy policy: tourist.com/page/privacy. Questions: support@tourist.com.
