The Nurek Hydropower Plant has an installed capacity of 3,000 MW and generates about 75% of all electricity produced in Tajikistan. From the dam, you can enjoy impressive views of the gorge and the beginning of the reservoir. By prior arrangement: a boat trip on the reservoir is available (for an additional fee).
