Our adventure will begin by admiring the iconic Minerva Roundabout, a symbol of the city. We'll give you a few minutes to take souvenir photos at this emblematic spot. We'll continue along the avenue to reach the Stampede Sculpture. After enjoying a leisurely stroll through this area, we'll head towards MUSA (Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara), one of the city's most important museums. What do you think of its imposing facade? Our next stop will be in front of the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, where we'll admire the majesty of this beautiful temple and learn about some of its architectural features. Next stop? The Glorieta de Los Niños Héroes (Roundabout of the Boy Heroes), an iconic pedestrian area also known as the Glorieta de las y los Desaparecidos (Roundabout of the Disappeared). Next, we'll arrive at the El Puente de las Damas Site Museum, one of the best-kept secrets of the Mexicaltzingo neighborhood, where you can discover part of the city's history and culture. For the final leg, we'll travel along part of Avenida de los Arcos (Avenue of the Arches) until we reach the end point. Join us on this bike tour of Guadalajara, where we'll discover the many charms of Jalisco's capital in the most comfortable and fastest way. Let's get pedaling! Itinerary At the appointed time, we'll meet at number 719 Lorenzana Street, very close to the Glorieta de la Estampida roundabout. We'll be waiting there with the bikes to begin our route through Guadalajara. Are you ready to explore Jalisco's capital by bike? Let's go! We will begin the tour by visiting the Arcos de Vallarta, followed by the impressive Glorieta La Minerva roundabout, where you can admire the majestic sculpture of the Roman goddess that gives this place its name. Do you know why it is one of the symbols of Guadalajara? You will find out on the guided tour! Afterward, we will head towards the historic center, where we will explore the most important religious buildings in the city. You will be able to admire the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament and the Metropolitan Cathedral. During the tour, we will also pass by significant government buildings, such as the Telmex Building, the Guadalajara City Hall, and the Jalisco State Government Palace. The route also includes stops in front of the MUSA (Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara), the Octavio Paz Ibero-American Library, and the Ex-Convent of Carmen, a 17th-century building that now houses a cultural center with exhibitions and events. We'll also cycle past the Degollado Theater, famous for its excellent acoustics and neoclassical architecture, and the Cabañas Cultural Institute, which houses murals by the renowned painter José Clemente Orozco. Before ending our bike tour of Guadalajara, we'll visit the Plaza de Armas and the Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres (Rotunda of Illustrious Jaliscians), a tribute to the most prominent figures from Jalisco. You'll love learning more about these important figures in local history! After three hours of cycling, we'll say goodbye back at the starting point.
